U.S. Republican candidate Donald Trump just held a press conference in New Hampshire at the Iowa State Fair where he appears to have come out against the Citizens United Decision. When asked about if he believes the so called independent committees are not really working with the candidates they support, he stated that of course not. He stated that the other candidates are benefiting from these committees and that nobody really believes that these candidates are really not coordinating with these committees. He then, essentially stated that these candidates are acting illegally and that they are knowingly coordinating with them.
Trump, also attacked U.S. senator Rand Paul for being weak on national security. During a speech he held right after his press conference he further ripped into the other Republican candidates for being supportive of the invasion of Iraq. He specifically, tore into Republican candidate Jeb Bush for not coming out strongly against his brother’s decision to invade Iraq. The crowd, during his speech applauded during his long continuing lambasting of the other Republican candidates.
Trump is the only Republican candidate it seems along with Rand Paul to have the position he does on Iraq and get away with it. Trump, can also contrast himself from Paul by sayng that he still believes it is necessary sometimes to go to war if necessary where Paul comes through as just anti-war even when the nation is endangered. Trump, brought up the examples of famous and successful American generals Douglas McCarthur and Patton and got loud cheers and laughs when he said essentially none of our generals resembled those great leaders.
Trump, did not leave out Democratic president Obama. He criticized the president for saying he had the country Yemen as an ally and then a short time later, looking bad because that country fell into dis-order and was no longer a real ally. He also criticized one of the U.S. Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton stating that she would probably have to get out of her race for the Democratic presidential nomination. He stated this due to what he believed was her probable violations of releasing classified information. He did not mention the other Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.
He brought up the U.S. Veteran’s Administration and stated that it was taking to long to see a doctor. Further, he stated that the problem of U.S. veterans being mistreated by the V.A. could be corrected by proper management of the V.A.
Trump, seemed to say the things the other Republican candidates did not want to not want to say in public or in private.
In addition, many political pundits are marveling at his ability to seemingly re-create himself every time he comes to the microphone stand. He appeared much more relaxed at the microphone and seemed to have realized that his appearance at the first debate needed a whole lot of work. He seemed to have learned from the Meygan Kelly incident.
Chris Hayes, of MSNBC network stated that Trump’s campaign seemed to be taking on the aspects of former independent presidential candidate Ross Perot but with the kind of talk one would hear on a radio talk with a Rush Limbaugh type of host.
Over all, it looks like Trump is actually turning into a bona fide front-runner for the Republican nomination to president. He appeared more polished and smooth. The other candidates thought in the beginning of their campaigning that they could just lampoon Trump but now, they are apparently imitating Trump.

If things keep on going in the same direction the 2016 presidential BATTLEGROUND promises to be a show beyond all expectations.
